Louis Vuitton just announced this week that it will be raising their prices in response to increased manufacturing costs, transportation costs and inflation in the global market. Which means Louis Vuitton all over the world will be affected. This price increase will affect leather goods, fashion accessories and perfumes. Every item has its own price increase, averaging an overall price increase of 20%. Even though in 2021, Louis Vuitton had a strong fourth quarter and they had a record revenue of 71.5 Billion USD – which is a 40% increase over last year. “The price adjustment takes into account changes in production costs, raw materials, transportation as well as inflation,” Louis Vuitton CEO Bernard  Arnault said in a statement to Reuters.
