In the March 2019 Fall/Winter collection, The Chanel 19 bag was unveiled. The design was the last bag Karl Lagerfeild designed before his passing in February 2019. He designed it with Chanels creative director Virginie Viard. The bag was inspired by the reimaging of a Chanel classic, paying homage to the 2.55, the first shoulder bag by Gabrielle Coco.

Our Instagram is deactivated again! Last year, around the same time (October 2020), our account was disabled for the first time. The second time was the day before Black Friday, November 25th, 2021 around 5:30 pm. Our team was excited for our Black Friday Sale and getting ready for it when we were suddenly disabled from the IG world. On Friday December 17th at 6:07pm it was deemed a mistake on the account. Now the third, and final time (fingers crossed) On Wednesday April 14th 2022 at 9:34pm, We received notice of deactivation of our account. This ban came with no notice, except on Tuesday, April 12th 2022 at 9:27pm. We got locked out of our account for 24 hours due to “suspicious activity”. It’s Spring, and in spring 2017 the infamous Chanel Gabrielle bag was first launched. Gabrielle was targeted towards a younger demographic. It was designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld. His inspiration was Gabrielle Chanel. Gabrielle paid tribute to the founder and her constant desire to put women’s freedom first, freedom of style. The bag was said to be an effortless “it” bag with a contemporary twist. The bag’s shape takes inspiration from oculus glasses. In early December, Pantone released its color of the year. This year they decided on the shade “Very Peri”. It is a purple hue with violet-red undertones and a slight quality of blue. Last weekend was the Screen Actors Guild Awards. I’m not going to lie. I watched mainly to see the fashion and to be inspired. Anyone else watch just to see what everyone wore? What on earth is a ‘Hermès gang’? We had the same question after we read headlines earlier last month about a group of individuals who were criminally charged for illegally selling authentic Hermès handbags. The Birkin and Kelly Resale Scheme A group of 10 individuals began to recruit fake Hermès buyers from acting schools; the actors were instructed to dress in expensive luxury clothing and visit their local Hermès store to create a customer profile, with the objective of purchasing a handbag. Once the actors were able to purchase a Hermès handbag, the gang provided them with the funds to complete the purchase, and allegedly also compensated them for their participation in the scheme. It is estimated that each bag was purchased for an approximate price of $8,000. The gang ran this operation for over four years, and purchased close to half of the Hermès handbag supply.
